The largest business event in the Power Coast area will bring together key players in industry, energy, technology and regional development at Satama Arena in Kotka on April 21–22, 2026. Previously known as the Kymenlaakso Summit, the renewed event offers timely keynote speeches, insights and meaningful encounters that spark new initiatives and collaboration. The event is free of charge for participants, and registration is now open. You will find the registration links and full programme details on this page.
The event will take place at the stunning Satama Areena, completed in 2023 – a hub for events, opportunities and encounters, located next to the XAMK campus opened in 2024. Set in the legendary Kantasatama harbour area in Kotka – the Baltic Sea region’s most distinctive hub for learning, expertise and leisure, where worlds meet now and in the future.
Program
Saana Nilsson is an expert in intelligence and security and a non-fiction author who explains complex and sensitive topics in a clear and human-centred way. She worked at the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service for nearly 20 years in demanding expert and leadership roles, most recently as part of its top management, and will open the second day of the Power Coast Summit with a keynote bringing insights from the world of intelligence to support decision-making in times of uncertainty.
The host of the Power Coast Summit is Jaakko Loikkanen, an experienced journalist and discussion moderator. He is well known to many from MTV News and currently serves as Head of the Society and Politics Desk at MTV News.
